Vintage USAF C-121 Military Plane Large Picture-Instrument Systems Display Piece

Hello, you are viewing my listing for a Vintage USAF C-121 Plane Print Mounted on Wood and Framed.  This was possibly an 'Instrument Systems' Display piece that was mounted to a wall in a showroom.  The actual plane photo print appears to be attached to a 1/4" thick piece of wood.  I am unsure of how it is secured however it appears that it may have been done by the USAF or another professional company.  The item was purchased from an individual whose husband was a high ranking member of the Air National Guard and also served in the Army during the Vietnam War.  She believes that it may have been at one time mounted on a wall in either an Army base or an Air Force installation as part of a historical see all.  This seems to be accurate due to the labels that are mounted on the picture explaining various facts about this plane.  This C-121 shown has the number 4169.  The frame is made of very heavy wood with a very heavy backing also made of wood.  There are 4 screws still shown in the frame where this unit was mounted by.  This is a very large item that measures 36" long by 29 and 1/2" tall.  The frame and picture together are 1 and 1/2" thick.  There are some wear marks present however they add that sense of age to this item.  There is an Air National Guard sticker attached to the bottom of the print which I have not attempted to remove for fear of damaging this wonderful piece.  This is a great item for any serious military collector or a member of the military who had a direct involvement with this plane.
