    Ever breaking new boundaries at the limits of manned flight in the 1960s, Test Pilots became the first official astronauts flying the X-15 test craft from Edwards AFB, California to the upper boundaries of the atmosphere and to the edge of space. Here a rocket-propelled X-15 leaves concentric shockwaves as it roars at several times the speed of sound up toward the heavens.

This un-matted print is sealed for transport in a self-sealing archival plastic envelope and shipped in a shipping tube for the safest shipping possible.
